NFAR is dedicated to providing families with opportunities to learn more, develop relationships with other families, as well as have fun as the family. We host activities for families throughout the year, including informational workshops, an annual Family Picnic and Halloween Carnival, and monthly Men’s groups and “Dad and Me” activities.

On Oct. 29, NFAR played host to superheroes, ninjas, princesses, witches, lions, puppies and even Mario & Luigi at our first annual Autism Halloween Carnival.

On July 16, nearly 200 gathered in Nobel Park for NFAR’s first annual Autism Family Picnic.
Group meetings in San Diego County for dads, stepdads and other men who are raising a child with autism and autism spectrum disorder.
We would like to thank all the families that came to our Special Needs Trust Workshop on Tuesday, February 8th. Workshop presenter Donald Sweet, JD, CLU, Director of the Advanced Planning Group of New York Life Insurance discussed financial matters facing parents of special needs children.
